Sandy Ellis Photography

My name is Sandy Ellis and I live in Watkinsville, Georgia.  I do fine art photography.

 

I have always loved photography.  For as long as I can remember I had a camera in my hand - starting with my Kodak Brownie in the 60's.  It excites me to view the world through the lens of my camera.  I especially like zooming in on an object that is far away or getting close to a tiny subject that might have been overlooked by the naked eye.

 

My first degree was in Journalism at the University of Georgia.  I fell in love with photography and working in the dark room.  My next degree was in Education.  I worked as a public school teacher for 33 years.  When I retired from teaching I dove back into photography.  Photography has become my passion.  I see the world a little differently through my camera and it brings great satisfaction into my life.
